I also wish chick-fil-a was pro-marriage equality. I worked at one in high school for 3 years and was nearly busting out of my uniform pants by the time I quit. As an adult, I only ate there about once or twice a year, but I do LOVE their sandwiches and as much as I want to eat their sandwiches, I do not want to give them my money any more. So yeah, I knew they were a Christian home-owned organization and I knew that they were the only ones who would hire me when I was 15 and needed a job...but I was living at home with a Christian mother so relatively speaking it made sense. And back in the early 90's there wasn't even a conversation about marriage equality. As for putting my money where my mouth is, I haven't shopped at a Salvation Army in nearly a decade and I pulled my son from the boy scouts when I realized their agenda.
I am only one person, but I hope everyone steps up to be on the "right side of history" as soon as possible. Doesn't matter what you think your bible says, it's not YOUR place to judge.
